Alisha McGowan and Bailey

Alisha is going through the slow diagnosis process at present for autism.

Bailey helps her in social situations in many ways. He helps initiate social interaction as well as being trained to end them on cue by jumping up as if he is alerting to something. He interrupts and grounds her by pawing if she stims due to stress. When she becomes overwhelmed he comes on her lap giving deep pressure therapy and grounds her bringing her attention to him.
