Shannon Quigley and Emrys

Emrys is a 4yr old large cross breed dog who was originally welcomed into the family as a rescued puppy to live a life as a pet, however very soon he showed a natural affinity to alerting and mediating situations relating to Shannon’s medical and mental health issues from a young age.
After substantial amounts of research, the decision was made to fine tune this natural ability, they then went down the route of owner training at first - with the end goal in mind of seeking to eventually gain status as a charity certified “multi-purpose” assistance dog.

Emrys mitigates and responds to both psychological and physiological impairments of his handler.

Emrys is constantly undergoing training and guidance from qualified persons to continue to expand his capabilities at mitigating Shannon’s disabilities and further enhance her quality of life.
