Meet Our Teams
New Members These teams are working towards Bronze level and Task Preparation
AD Prospect These teams have passed Bronze and Task Preparation
Apprentice Assistance Dogs These teams have also passed Silver Good Citizen, Public Access Preparation and have a minimum of one task fully trained.
Qualified Assistance Dogs These teams have also passed Gold Good Citizen, Full Public Access Assessment and have a minimum of three tasks fully trained. They will be assessed yearly to ensure standards are maintained.
New members are advised to wait until AD Prospect stage to start public access. They do not have a Scottish ADA jacket, lead slip or bandana
AD Prospect dogs do not have access rights by law so it is up to each individual business or organisation to decide whether to allow dogs in training. Our Prospects are recognised by Scottish ADA Bandana and lead slip
BOTH OUR APPRENTICE TEAMS AND QUALIFIED TEAMS HAVE FULL ACCESS RIGHTS BY LAW
As they have trained to a high standard and are carrying out tasks to mitigate their handlers disability
They are recognised by their Scottish ADA jacket stating Assistance Dog and their Scottish ADA Assistance dog lead slips. Note in weather too hot for jackets they may instead wear a bandana.
